Letter from a Lady in Western Australia, that purchased a Campervan in Victoria and named it "Kenny" She asked me to prepare it and make it reliable for the journey back across the Nullabor to her home in W.A. Including increasing the cooling capacity so it didn't over-heat, Major Service, Tappet adjustment & many other personal requisites to make her journey back home more pleasurable, safe and trouble free.

Lynda and I would like to thank you for making time to meet with us on Monday. You gave up over two and a half hours of your valuable time and willingly shared with us your knowledge, experiences and the highs and lows of buying and owning a kombi. You were right when you said that you could "educate us" and we left with a wealth of knowledge that we will put to good use.

Although the kombi you have for sale is not quite what we were looking for we were so glad that there was no pressure from you what so ever to buy. In fact we felt so comfortable after our visit that we would readily consider buying a kombi from you, with out making the long trip across, on your say so and would be confident that that it would be finished to a high professional standard.

Greetings Tony,

Many thanks for all you information and photos supplied. Wow you have some great Kombis beautifully fitted out. I appreciate the guide you provided with regards to the various components.

It really puts things in perspective.. finances permitting without a doubt I’d say a completed refurbished Kombi would be ideal. However I was considering buying a neglected Kombi (I’m a sucker for trying to bring interesting cars back to life) and perhaps having the interior done in stages.

Either way for now I think the reality is that I must start saving much more : )

Thank you once again and no doubt I will rely on your expertise in the future as you have a very good reputation, an obvious love for VW and are conveniently close to home too.

When my wonderful 1971 Beetle arrived, you spent the time checking to make sure that it arrived ok and that I was happy with the description you had provided (given I had purchased the car unseen).
